ACCSS is a professional association, focusing on training and development for chaplains in state service. ACCSS leadership consists of active chaplains who are elected to the board to represent the chaplaincy and its interests to the various state entities. We are a not-for-profit and non-political professional entity.

Our mission is to ensure all state chaplains receive the training and tools necessary to effectively carry out what we are tasked with. ACCSS also advocates, represents, and navigates on behalf of all state chaplains through communication, and maintaining relationships with the various departments

Our vision is to help the chaplaincy thrive, be more effective, and reach the potential we can be. ACCSS constantly looks for ways to create platforms in achieving this, including the forums, the website, and other platforms where resources of mutual benefits and interests can be shared and utilized.
